[Zack obediently follows behind her lead. He's somewhat familiar with Midgar -- or had been familiar with it, given his years-long absence -- and can get around it okay without maps or directions, but Aerith's got him beat in that regard, probably knows every possible route in and out of Sector 5 like the back of her hand. It makes him feel safe, or safer, at least. The slums have their reputation for a reason, and Zack can't put his guard down even if he wanted to. A habit from years as a SOLDIER.

He grins at her and gestures for her to go on ahead with a return-squeeze of their joined hands.]

I'm more worried about your Mom. You know, I never got the chance to meet her, so I don't know what's expecting me when we get to your house. Is she more of a Mama Bear or like those old-timey wives on those old-timey TV shows?
